R22 Seminar - Threats & Opportunities
This seminar has been held and is no longer availableCan you wait any longer?
The total UK ban on virgin R22 comes into force on the 1st January 2010 – only months away! Realistically, there will be shortages of R22 at distributors from the middle of 2009 and prices are already going up. Is a shortage of R22 likely to have an impact on your customers businesses?
Until the end of 2014 – maybe even earlier – your customers will have to rely on recycled R22, but with demand likely to be many times greater than supply, will contractors be able to keep your customer's business critical R22 plant running?
There are as many as 100,000 R22 systems still in operation in the UK. Is the contractor workforce able to cope with an ever increasing workload as 2010 approaches?
What should your advice to your customers be?
Essentially, time is running out, options are limited, owners of R22 plant must act now or risk a shutdown sometime in the future. At this seminar, expert industry speakers will fully explain the choices your customers have, to buy time by using recycled R22, to replace the R22 with a direct replacement refrigerant or to replace the plant itself.
You need to present your customers with a fully costed business continuity plan to maintain their business over the coming months. The phasing out of R22 is a threat but also an opportunity for you and the wider air
conditioning and refrigeration industry to bring the real benefits of modern refrigerants and the latest technology plant to your customers' businesses.
