Dr Guy Hundy
Dr Guy Hundy is currently President of the Institute of Refrigeration. Guy's career in refrigeration started with J&E Hall. He has since worked for Prestcold and Copeland, and is now an independent Technical Consultant. Guy is a long serving member of the Institute's Technical, Papers and Publications Committee.
Robert Heap
Robert Heap is President of the Science & Technology Council of the International Institute of Refrigeration and the Chairman of the International Cold Chain Technology forum. A Chartered Engineer, Robert now works as an independent consultant. He was awarded the MBE in 1999 for services to the refrigeration industry.
Mike Nankivell
Mike Nankivell has had a long and distinguished career in commercial/industrial air conditioning, having first worked for Carrier and now as Technical Advisor to Space Airconditioning. Mike has also been invited to chair the cross-industry ACRIB F Gas Implementation Group, due to his substantial knowledge of the regulation and his close working with the DTI/DEFRA.
Dr S Forbes Pearson
Dr Forbes Pearson is a professional engineer holding degrees in ARCST, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in compressor design. A past-President and current Technical Committee Chairman of the Institute of Refrigeration, Forbes and colleagues founded Star Refrigeration in 1970 and he continues to hold many patents on subjects relating to refrigeration and natural refrigerants.
John Armstrong
John Armstrong is President Elect of CIBSE and Chair of the CIBSE Maintenance Task Group. A Chartered Engineer and a prominent independent building services consultant, John has been associated with the maintenance and operation of building services in both the public and private sectors. John is also a Member of the British Institute of Facilities Managers where he is also part of the examining board.
